Northumberland National Park
In 1956, a remote, wild and beautiful upland area rolling from the Cheviot Hills in the north to Hadrian’s Wall in teh south was given the special status of a National Park, instantly making it a member of an international family that includes famous places as Yellowstone National Park. St Oswald's Way (Long distance walk)
St. Oswald’s Way is a long-distance walking route, exploring some of the finest landscapes and fascinating history of Northumberland.
You will find castles, coastline, islands, scenic river valleys, hills, attractive villages, forest and farmland on your walk.
The Sage Gateshead
The Sage, is one of the biggest music halls in the North and one of the most eye opening buildings built in the whole North East
